ok well im 16 and i have a problem. See I alwase try to get the guys attention. I really want a Boyfriend but no guy notices me. Im not bad lookin ,im smart and fun. I think lol. Anypalce I alwase do things to get the guys to even say hi or to just look at me for a second. I wear perfume and wear low cut shirts and smile and im so nice and w.e . I think they think im 2 shy. I am but maybe that intimadates them . Maybe they think im like delicate and cat date or soimthin.g I dont know how can I get theguys just to look at me or smile back or somthing. Dear Lizzie, Ok, I was wondering, I'm 13, and is a 10 year old to young to like? It really doesn't seem like he's 10, even my mom said so. He likes me back, so I asked him out, and now we're going out at school. It's not much different than before I asked him out, it's just now we talk about different stuff, and we're always smiling at eachother from across the hall and stuff like that. I really like him, but I want to know if I shouldn't be liking him. Also, it's the summer, and I'm not allowed to call him, b/c his parents might get him in trouble, which also means I can't get 2gether w/ him. I have 2 things to ask you. The first thing is one of my godd friends and I both tried out for flags for marching band, she made it and I didn't. I don't think it's fair that she made it even when she didn't turn in heer permission form and when everyone was congratulating her she kinda blew them off and like my best friend was the only one that said it was o.k. How do I blow off this jelously toward this? The second thing is I really like this one guy, an dhe knows ilike him too. I worte him a note like 1 or 2 months ago and he hasn't wrote back. My friend asked why and he said he hasn't found time. Well, one day at lunch I saw him and he wasn't doing not a thing. Okay I am not really pro or anti war but as far as THIS war hgoes I don't really support it. And our president HAS NOT kept his promises on the war on terror. AND this war isn't part of that, it is seperate. Anyways on September 11 he PROMISED to have Osama DEAD and CAPTURED within a year. We still don't know where he is. This war wasn't something we HAD to do until AFTER a year had passed, as if it was to turn our attention away from Afghanistan. [nantucket]

ok, i know i give friendship advice, but i'm stuck. my best friend since third grade is beginning to bug me. she's always busy when i want to do stuf or blows me off and when i want to hang out with someone else, she totally loses it. she gets so mad at me because i decided to hang out with someone else. she hangs out with pther ppl all the time and acts like its nothing. she makes me so mad because she brings ppl to church that that i hate and that hate me and still expects me to hang otu with her. i'm afraid we've just been friends for too long and we're growing apart, but i still want to be able to have a decent conversation with her. although talking to her is like talking to an intellectuall dictionary. how can i tell her i don't really want to be friends anymore without hurting her feelings. Hi. You don't know me but this is what I feel about the situation. I know you love your sister but, do you really wanna give up something you really like to do just to help her out. Would she give up skating to play hockey because there was one member short? You need to sometimes think of yourself (I know it's difficult but to get anywhere in this world that's what you gotta do!). Are you sure the place that she skates at can't find anyone? Have you posted a wanted add in the paper? Have you gone to other skating ranks and put up flyers? I mean there are thousands of ways to find someone. Um, hi... I really need your advice. No one can seem to tell me the right thing to do at home, but since you don't know me, it might be easier. My twin sister Abby is a figure skater. All she's wanted to do, ever since she started skating (and she was really young), she's wanted to be a pairs skater (and be like her favorite skaters Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov). She's trying to find a partner, but so far, no male skater at the figure skating club, or any club around, is up to it. So Abby asked me. Now, I'm at the same level of skating she is (our dad is a skating coach), so I know all the jumps, spins, etc. But I alsp play hockey, and if I become a pairs skater with Abby, I'll have to give up hockey, because we will have outrageous hours training on and off the ice. I don't know what to do... I love my sister more than anything in the world, and her skating is so important to her. I would do anything for her, and vice versa, but I don't want to give up hockey. Hey Lizzie~ I've asked advice a few times, but with all your advice answering, it must get kind of hectic... so this time I'll write out my problem: (This is going to be VERY brief) I have this friend, and we were best friends in 7th grade. Then she left my school. Last year we began fighting etc., and things got tough because she's now homeschooled and we could never hang out. We still get into small fights sometimes, but the worst thing is the taking advantage of the term best friend. Whenever somethings wrong, she always ask me, and if I don't want to talk about it right then, she brings up "but I thought we were best friends" even though we barely ever see each other. Even though we chat on MSN and stuff.... and when we do hang out, it's like old times in 7th grade. I just don't know what to do. I really miss her, and stuff, and she just doesn't get that. You seem to give good advice and I'm wondering if you can help me out. I basically have 2 and a half problems. 1. My teachers hate me, I can feel their hatred, it makes me feel aweful inside. I don't cry on the outside but inside I'm having an emotional breakdown 2. I'm turning towards anorexia even though I know I don't have enough control. I need some advice. This is going to take a while so sit and relax. Ok here we go. My name is Brittany, I'm sixteen, and fall under the "sixteen and never been kissed" category. I've never been in a relationship EVER. Now I have always been the type to fall for my guy friends. Well I've been in love for my best guy friend since August 7, 2000. Yes I know the date and yes it is pathetic. We used to hang out like everyday and tell each other almost everything. When I first met him I liked him and once we began talking I told him that I thought he was cute and he was nice and stuff. Well, Maria's friend Andrea hurt him because he liked her but she was rude about it when she found out. Because of this when i told him he was like thanx for telling me but I'm hurting and I don't want to act on anything. I didn't ask him out but that is how he took it but I was just like whatever because I didn't think my feelings would end up being as deep as they are. Well time went on and me and Maria started liking him more and more. Well, he started getting crushes on every single girl I introduced him to. So being the good friend I would try to work magic but it never worked. Finally he started looking at Maria differently. They never "went out" but they scammed a few times and had their little fling (she thought I was over him). Well, their thing finished. I was so hurt by it but I wouldn't let anyone know. Well, he moved and I moved so we are not as close of friends as we used to be but I still am in love with him. Only one person knew that. Well, he has know been dating another one of my good friends Alena. I was hurt but happy for them. I wrote about how they are together and how I felt about it. I even wrote how since they have been together I have been seeing everyday I spent with him and if I would have just said this instead of that maybe things would be different. Well, I guess they way I wrote things make it seem like I wish the worst for them. Alena's friend Dorthy read it and told Alena that I wished that they were not together and I was spiteful. She took it the wrong way so I took it upon my self to tell her everything. She doesn't talk to me anymore and I won't talk to him because I don't want her to think I'm trying to steal him because I'm NOT. Now I have lost 2 of my closest friends because I was honest. My friends tell me they aren't worth it and that it sux for them. But it's one of my good friends since like 6th grade and the guy I have loved since I was 13. I've apoligized to her about 100 times and have decided that I don't want him in my life if this is what it is going to cause. Dorthy told me I was a toxic friend and Alena just won't talk to me since she wrote to me in my diary. I feel like I'm being punished for being honest and it hurts a lot. Do you think I am outline for doing all this? Do you think My friend has the right to be as mad as she is? Do you think I was being selfish by saying anything? Dear Lizzie, I think it's great that you are trying to help people with their problems! Infact, i have a problem of my own. You see, at school I am really shy. I have a bunch of friends, and I'm not shy around them or anything, but when it comes to guys, I am just so shy, I'll do anything to avoid them. Another reason tht makes this situation so complicated is, lots of the guys I like are friends with the "popular" group and that group (maily these two guys) are constantly making fun of me. it started out with me being too skinny, and them making fun of that, butnow they always make fun of me. I've seen that episode where she gives advice. I really like Lizzie McGuire and I think it's really great that you are helping anyone with anything. Now, I need advice if you can help. My friend has been going out with my ex-boyfriend and she doesn't spend time with me anymore. The reason I'm not longer with my ex-boyfriend is because he was a little abusive.
